I’ve always had a thing for words and for selling.
From committedly going to the bookstore with my dad and sister every weekend to buy one book each, to reading my first Sidney Sheldon novel at 6 years old and on to being an active debater in high school, words have been a part of me from my earliest memories.
My earliest memory of selling was at the age 6 or 7, when I convinced my classmates to buy plain sheets of paper from me (at a premium, too!). With a knack for telling (often outrageous!) stories growing up, keeping those around me in awe and convincing them to take action, it was no surprise that my career kicked off with a copywriter role.
I started out as a copywriter, but over time the work grew beyond just writing. These days, I spend more time helping companies figure out what they’re really trying to say, who they’re saying it to, and how to make it land across everything—website, email, social, sales. Not just nice words, but work that actually does something.
Multi-brand, global growth experience
With a diverse and extensive background delivering content, marketing and communications results for global brands across different business sectors, I bring a unique perspective to every project.
I’ve worked across fintech, SaaS, banking, and a few other industries, with teams at places like Xapo Bank, First City Monument Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Oando and BetOnMarkets.com (now Deriv.com). Different audiences, but the same core challenge was to make the message clear, make it connect, and make it pull its weight commercially.
Before all that, I cut my teeth in agencies working on brands like Benylin and Vimto—which probably explains why I’m just as comfortable getting into the weeds as I am thinking big picture.
Love language – travel
Outside of work, I travel a lot. I’m fascinated by architecture, airports and tea (in no particular order), which translates into quite a bit of international travel discovering new places. Immersing myself in new cultures does wonders for my creativity, so it’s definitely a win on all fronts – plus, starting a travel blog is really high on my “To do. Really Soon” list!

I’d love to have a chat about your copy and marketing projects – or swap travel and tea stories! Reach out to me today. I’m sure we’ll have a swell time catching up.
